Back to School

Today I’m mindful of all the students, parents, teachers and staff people that are starting school today (or sometime close to today). I wish you well. This day, probably more than any other, is the day that everyone is a student — learning names, putting names with faces, getting a feel for different personalities, feeling each other out, adjusting to changes that have been made since last year, figuring out before, during and after school schedules…. Come to think of it, I can’t imagine that any of you school folks are going to have any time to read this post today! (more…)

Since then I’ve come across a fascinating series of posts by Michael Kruse that review and critique McLaren’s book.
